About us
Blackpool and The Fylde College is one of the UK’s leading providers of professional and technical education. Teaching around 13,500 students each year, we deliver diverse programmes from entry level to apprenticeships and degrees. Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to succeed – meeting the evolving needs of employers and helping businesses to grow.
Our recent achievements and plans for the future
In March 2025, Ofsted rated B&FC ‘Good’ with four ‘Outstanding’ areas, including the highest grade of ‘Strong’ for our contribution to regional skills. We are also rated TEF Gold for the teaching, learning and student outcomes across our higher education provision and are now focussing on our plans to deliver the Multiversity – an inspiring and aspirational new learning environment – in Blackpool town centre.

We’re a PR consultancy with a clear focus. We help organisations navigate complexity.
