WORK, COLLABORATE, NETWORK AND RELAX AT SHOUT CONNECT

The Shout Connect conference and coworking space on Preston docks was launched on 15th July 2022 by the team behind Shout Network and Shout Expo.

Having delivered and hosted around 600 networking meetings and three large North West B2B exhibitions annually for many years, the Shout Connect site was a natural progression in serving the needs of SMEs across the region.

The Edward VII Quay site was chosen for its easy access to local businesses and the nearby motorway network, with the added bonus of free parking.

How did we get here?

In 2021, Shout Network moved to the King Edward VII Quay site on Navigation Way to rent some offices and a 14m x 7m conference room that can be divided into two separate spaces.

Within a month, the Shout Connect team had created a media suite with conferencing and podcast production facilities, and an Expo Room for Shout Expo exhibitors.

Soon, the huge office space next door proved to be too tempting, and by spring

2022 Shout Network had acquired the additional space to offer coworking desks, meeting rooms, conference facilities and an American diner to other businesses.

The new 8,000 sq ft space was to be branded Shout Connect.

What is available at Shout Connect? On site facilities include: • Coworking space

• Two conference rooms (14m x 7m & 7m x 7m)

• Available in your preferred layout

• Up to 75 delegates (theatre style, 14m x 7m)

• Six meeting rooms for two to six people

• Media suite with podcast and conferencing facilities

• Expo room

• American diner with drink and snack machines

• Free parking • Free super-fast Wi-Fi

They used the main conference room and separate breakout rooms across the venue, and Shout Connect provided catering for each event.

Participants have been given the option to work in the coworking space before and after each workshop.

Ruth Raban, Enterprise Fellow, Centre for Enterprise at Manchester Metropolitan University, said: ”What a great venue! A spacious light conference room with a waterside view, meeting rooms, breakout rooms, private workspace and free parking.

“The staff team are lovely and can’t do enough for you and the buffet was good too. I would highly recommend!”
