TO REMEMBER
A NIGHT
The 13th Red Rose Awards featured all the hallmarks that have made it such a special event for Lancashire’s business community.
Guests were treated to an evening of food, drink, music and entertainment as well as all the drama of the award announcements.
The event was hosted by BBC broadcaster Graham Liver, who introduced representatives from the headline sponsors: Pauline Rigby, managing partner at Forbes Solicitors and Paul Nicholls, relationship director at Barclays, to the stage at the start of the evening.
MH Productions delivered the entertainment on stage and the awards runway with a disco theme. And the evening featured fine food presented by catering experts Campbell and Rowley. The afterparty included live music from Hot Piece of Brass, followed by a DJ set, midnight feast by Campbell and Rowley and activities orchestrated by Preston’s The Fun Experts.
Throughout the evening the audience donated to the event’s charity partner, the Community Foundation for Lancashire, with the money raised going towards the Red Rose Responding Fund which supports health and wellbeing in the county.
Describing the awards as “the biggest celebration of regional business”, Lancashire Business View managing director Stephen Bolton said: “It’s more important than ever to take a step back and remind ourselves of the incredible businesses we have, across all key sectors.”
