Tom Race is a Level 3 plumbing apprentice with Pinnacle Plumbing and Gas Services.
Tom was named learner of the year in the national HIPS magazine contest, competing against top Apprentices and trainees in a six-hour practical installation which tested his skills to the limit.
Kieran McShane is a Level 3 welding apprentice with WEC Group.
Kieran made it through to represent Team GB in the WorldSKills contest, following in the footsteps of colleague Tyler Atkinson, who travelled to Russia to compete in the latest WorldSkills contest.
Nicola Donovan is a Level 2 apprentice early years practitioner with Whalley Pre-School.
Nicola reached the regional finals of the National Apprentice Awards in 2021 where she was praised for her dedication, her passion for education and the ways in which, alongside inspiring children in her care, she inspires her colleagues and employers, too.
