Nuvonic introduces the ECO product line boosting performance and efficiency in UV water treatment
Nuvonic, a global UV technology solutions provider, today unveiled its latest offering, the ECO product line for Ultraviolet (UV) water treatment. The ECO is a breakthrough for UV systems in food & beverage, pharmaceuticals & healthcare, semiconductor & microelectronics, power & energy, and building services. The ECO takes what we know today about UV and offers the next generation of performance and efficiency in UV treatment while meeting the highest sustainability and safety standards.
methodology. It meets the strictest standards of hygienic design, eliminating dead spots and conforming to the rigorous requirements of the food & beverage, microelectronics, and pharmaceutical markets.
Said Ken Kershner, Global Commercial Director, Nuvonic: "The ECO checks all the boxes regarding safety, performance, and efficiency. This innovative solution will empower industries to keep their operations performing at their peak while meeting the highest sustainability standards. With the ECO, Nuvonic reaffirms its commitment to delivering cutting-edge UV solutions that propel industry advancements and promote a healthy and safe environment for everyone."
Early customers in Asia Pacific acknowledged the ECO's easy installation, clear customer interface connection, friendly user interface, ease of operation, and enhanced performance. The effectiveness and reliability of the ECO have
been validated through CFD modeling, UL and CE approvals, functional tests, and FDA approval for wetted parts.
Key innovations behind the ECO include using a new high- output amalgam lamp designed specifically for industrial applications, fewer maintenance requirements than other systems currently being sold, and an out-of-the-box system preassembled and ready to install. With UV lamps exceeding 330W, the ECO ensures exceptional power output, coupled with optimized ballast efficiency, thus maximizing power utilization, resulting in increased overall system efficiency.
The ECO features an optimized ballast and lamp combination for increased endurance and improved performance across a wider range of fluid temperatures. The system comes standard with a stainless steel enclosure, FDA-compliant seals & gaskets, and an optional autowiper for expanded application scenarios. The 7" HMI display with a user-friendly interface showcases real- time running parameters, including UV intensity, flow rate, and UV dose.
Customers will benefit significantly from the ECO's enhanced performance and efficiency. The system employs an optimized design utilizing RED (Reduction Equivalent Dose) sizing

MSFM S2.5t flow meter launched with MCERTS Approval
Detectronic have announced theMSFM MCERTS S2.5T flow meter following months of intensive testing as part of the MCERTS accreditation procedure. Using a combination of velocity, depth and temperature sensors to determine flow rates, the MSFM MCERTS 2.5T provides more accurate readings without drift and greater assurance for customers.
Featuring a 12V lithium-ion rechargeable battery, users can expect the battery to last in excess of 15 weeks when using a logging rate of 2 minutes. The lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and has a typical life expectancy of +5 years.
MCERTS is the Monitoring Certification Scheme of the Environment Agencies of England and Wales. Providing the framework for businesses and water companies to meet quality requirements; compliance with MCERTS gives the Environment Agency confidence in the monitoring of emissions and/or discharges into the
