We acquired a 35-acre site for Lidl on which works are currently underway building a 685,000 sq ft regional distribution centre for the well-known German brand. We continued to introduce other occupier requirements (both on and off market requirements through our network) which resulted in Verdion appointing the Colliers Industrial & Logistics team to act as marketing agents on the scheme. In its first full year of development, over 2.3m sq ft of space has been taken up at iPort by major companies such as Amazon, Ceva and Fellowes.
ECCY VILLAGE Client name | Abode Hallam
The Build-to-Rent team advised Abode Hallam with regards to the forward funding and ultimately the sale of a build-to-rent property development in Sheffield to comprise 237 new high quality purpose built PRS homes. Grainger have exchanged contracts on the deal at a price of circa £32m, given the city is one of its key targets for PRS investment due to Sheffield’s ‘strong economic prospects and its potential for growth’. The scheme is due to complete in 2019 and will be delivered by Abode Hallam to Grainger’s specification.

A key 36-acre regeneration opportunity which will become home to The Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre as well as a new Academy School and a University Training College and a Sports Stadium. The site will also accommodate up to 200,000 sq ft of R&D, laboratory and offices all within a highly landscaped site.
