On our Animal Care programmes you’ll study with like-minded people, who care as much about animal welfare as you do.
Our Animal Centre is home to a wide variety of animals, including rabbits, tortoises and guinea pigs. We also make the most of our beautiful surroundings here in North Devon, and take learning outside the classroom whenever possible.

Our on-site Animal Centre houses a tropical room, rodent room, guinea pig and rabbit room and an aviary as well as an outside enclosure for goats – giving our students plenty of hands-on experience with a range of animals. These great facilities, as well as our Blue Cross cat rehoming centre and dog grooming studio will give you the insight you need to help you choose your future career path.
Our progression routes have helped previous students gain dream jobs as vet nurses, animal centre managers and even wildlife conservationists. You could also undertake our Foundation Degree in Animal Conservation.
