Welcome to Vocational Study Programmes

Vocational qualifications are designed to give you the skills you need to move on to Higher Education or go straight into employment.

Classroom tuition is combined with practical, hands- on learning, work experience and employability skills to give a well-rounded qualification that will give you both the knowledge and the employability skills needed to get you noticed after you leave college - whether you go to university, into employment or undertake an apprenticeship.

Vocational courses allow you to start at the right level for you, and enable you to progress as far as you want to go. You could start at Level 1 studying Functional Skills and progress onto university – and beyond!

All vocational courses are graded pass (P), merit (M), distinction (D) or distinction-star (D*). We are very proud that our vocational learners receive an average grade of Distinction.

Don’t forget to look out for apprenticeship options within each subject area!
