Power Lock Sanding System T e fl exible rubber Power Lock disc holder is more aggressive than a hook- and-loop disc holder.
In fact, we
recommend that basic sanding should be done with the Power-Lock System. Some shaping can be done, and the locking system overcomes problems with friction and heat. T e cloth-back, resin-bond, silicon carbide discs will usually last longer than a sheet of abrasive paper.

3M Cubitron™ Pressure Sensitive Sanding Discs T ese premium discs signifi cantly cut down on sanding time and last 4–6 times longer than aluminum oxide discs. T e patented microcrystalline grain structure is designed to systematically fracture during the sanding process constantly exposing more fresh cutting edges. T is unique combination of super-hard ceramic grit and fl exible J-weight cloth backing make 3M Cubitron™ discs an excellent choice.
T ese PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) discs have a sticky backing that must be kept clean to maintain their ability to adhere to the PSA disc holder. Apply fi rm pressure to the disc when mounting it on the disc holder. To adapt PSA discs for use with your existing hook-and-loop disc holder, see the hook-and-loop adapter pads listed below. Do not store PSA discs for an extended period of time as the adhesive weakens as it ages.

Flex Edge discs eliminate scoring caused by rigid discs digging into the work when sanding a fairly tight radius.
