T is 4-1/2" geared key chuck is an excellent choice for woodturners who need a heavy duty chuck that is capable of holding large diameter work. With No. 2 jaws, this chuck will comfortably handle work up to 14" in diameter. Larger work is easily turned using large jaws.

Oneway Talon Chuck
T e Oneway Talon Chuck off ers many of the same features found on the Stronghold Chuck but in a compact, 3-1/2" diameter size and weighing only 3.4 pounds. One-hand key operation and profi led jaws make it easy to get a tenacious grip on the workpiece with little eff ort. T e unique serrated jaw slides provide smoother operation and longer life. T e jaw slides and scroll are hardened to provide years of dependable, accurate service.
With No. 2 dovetail jaws, the Talon chuck will grip a spigot from 1-5/8" to 2-7/8" diameter. T ey will also expand in a pre-turned dovetail recess from 2" to 3-3/8" diameter.

Profi led Jaws Profi led jaws are known for their tenacious grip on the workpiece. Because of the serrated design on the interior of the jaw, these jaws should not be used to grip the bowl on a fi nished surface as severe marking will occur.
Smooth Jaws T ese jaws are recommended for those who wish to grip the fi nished portion of the work piece without leaving marks. T ey will hold the work securely in place provided a proper dovetail taper is available for the jaws to grip.
Note: Chrome jaws are used for photo purposes. Black oxide fi nish is supplied on jaws sold.
