AXE™ tools by Carter Products are the next generation in replaceable carbide cutter turning tools. Available in Full Size and Medium (Hybrid) size, AXE tools feature an axe shaped handle, solid stainless steel shaſt and razor sharp cutters at exceptional prices. A few features that make AXE™ tools unique include a milled fl at on the underside of the tool shaſt that keeps the tool steady when scraping and radiused corners that provide a smooth transition when rolling the tool side to side when making shear scraping cuts. In addition, fl ats on the end of the handle provide tactile reference for your hands as to the cutter position. By gripping the handle with your thumb on the fl at, you know the cutter is positioned at approximately 45 degrees for shear cutting.
