Following these appointments, the NPSO Board will comprise of ten directors, with a further two independent non-executive roles to fill.


Core banking firm Ohpen has moved Angelique Shouten from her role as UK CEO into a new position as a global board member and chief commercial officer. She will focus on building the commercial organisation emphasising on marketing, sales and PR.

its authorisation from regulatory and government bodies. “I’m very proud on what we have achieved in the UK,” said Schouten. “Two years ago, I flew to England with only a laptop and a credit card, and now we have a banking licence from the local regular, a number of amazing customers and a diverse workforce consisting of 30 employees all hired based on our core values.”


Schouten is succeeded by the new CEO in the UK, Lydia van de Voort. The first ever employee at Ohpen, van de Voort worked as a business consultant and right-hand woman to founder Chris Zadeh.


Another newly arrived face at Ohpen is Ian Hutchinson, who joins as COO in the UK. Hutchinson is a City veteran and has more than 20 years’ experience in UK financial services. Before joining Ohpen as COO, he most recently was director of operations at International Financial Data Services (IFDS), where he led a team specialised in platform operations, wrap services, wealth administration services and client relationship management.


Cinnober has appointed Hans Sjöberg as new chief technology officer and Taraneh Derayati as head of sales.

As CTO, Sjöberg will lead the product organisation within Cinnober, including DevOps, product architects as well as research and technology. Peter Lenti, one of Cinnober’s founders and the previous CTO, remains active in the company in a senior technology architect and advisory role.


Lydia van de Voort


Derayati has been with Cinnober since 2009. She has been integral to a number of client projects as business analyst and project manager, and has led several large client acquisition projects. Most recently she was in charge of delivering Cinnober’s real-time clearing system to JPX, which went live in February this year.


Cybersecurity analytics firm Cybereason has hired Hemdat Cohen-Shraga as vice president of engineering and Ronny Maate as vice president of product.


Cohen-Shraga oversees Cybereason’s global engineering team in Tel Aviv, including research and development, machine learning scientists, architects, development and QA. The various engineering teams focus on advancing Cybereason’s Enterprise Attack Protection Platform.


Maate leads the product management team, focusing on the company’s product roadmap, ongoing platform releases and further expansion of the company’s award-winning Enterprise Attack Protection Platform.
