When I was about three years old, our family moved from Alberta to a hobby farm about four miles from Winkler, Man. My faith background was similar to that of many in this community. Grow- ing up, I believed that the promise of everlasting life was some- thing I had to work for and maintain. I believed that it could be lost from day to day. Tis regularly caused me to be unsure of my eternal destination. Now I have come to understand the grace of God and the power of his Word, and this has given me an urgent desire to share this marvelous truth of a free and firm salvation
