PAID CONTENT FOR ELLE DIMORA DI SICILIA

Elle dimora di Sicilia SICILY, ITALY

Elle dimora di Sicilia is a refined and intimate residence in the heart of Catania, overlooking the Roman Amphitheatre and just steps from Piazza Duomo. The property blends eras and styles in a decorative journey that reflects the creative spirit of its owner, Leandra. Every corner expresses her passion for art, design and Sicilian culture through handcrafted elements and custom-made pieces The residence houses three individually styled

rooms — Incanto, Anfiteatro and Dionisio. Incanto features two balconies over the Roman ruins, a pastel ceiling hand-painted with natural motifs, an antique marble fireplace and a bathtub recalling 18th-century elegance. Anfiteatro is adorned with hand-painted wooden silhouettes, a shower in hand-carved Sicilian marble and sculptures that frame the space with dramatic flair. Dionisio offers softer romantic tones, with powder-pink walls and neoclassical accents. The common room also features original works by artist Sergio Fiorentino, including a hand-painted portrait of Elle. The terrace is the crown jewel — an open-air lounge that frames the rooftops of Catania, from

the dome of the cathedral to the surrounding archaeological treasures. The rooftop garden, designed as a Sicilian living room, features Moorish heads, custom-made seating and zinc canopies, which glow by candlelight. From here, guests can witness Mount Etna’s eruptions on the horizon. Breakfast is lovingly prepared by Leandra. Guests

enjoy locally sourced treats such as granita with brioche, ricotta cannoli and homemade cakes, all served with vintage table settings and on custom- made tablecloths, designed by Leandra. Each room includes a king-bed with silk-

embroidered linens, a mini-bar, a coffee machine and a Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries line. Situated in the vibrant historic centre, Elle offers easy access on foot to the city’s main attractions. Alternatively, guests can book private excursions to tour the rest of the island. Etna, Noto and Taormina are three particular highlights. Though located on the third floor with no lift,

Elle rewards the climb with soulful views, heartfelt hospitality and an experience that captures the spirit of Sicily — personal, passionate and unforgettable.

DON’T MISS Climb to the rooftop at sunset to watch Mount Etna’s silhouette glow against the evening sky
