ou can take part in any Race for Life 5k, 10k or Pretty Muddy event at a location near you. Te only
question is, who will you race for? One in two of us will get cancer in
our lifetime*. Tis means that almost everyone has been affected by cancer in some way. Te last few years have been a challenge, but Race for Life 2022 is back. We all have a reason to race; so whether you race for your parents, your friends, your kids or yourself, you’re needed now more than ever. Cancer Research UK’s ambition is to see three in four people survive the disease by 2034 — and by taking part in Race for Life, you’ll be playing a vital part in making that goal a reality.

Race for Life events taking place across the UK from May. It’s the perfect way to get moving. Everyone is welcome, no matter their fitness level or gender, plus everyone gets their own medal once they cross that finish line. Te 5k and Pretty Muddy obstacle course events are a great place to start, and the Pretty Muddy Kids event is ideal for the little ones. If you fancy pushing yourself a little further, why not enter a 10k? You can even sign up as a group and have a great day out with all your friends and family. To celebrate the start of a new year, enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life for half price and help raise money for life-saving cancer research
a Race for Life and you could be doing anything from helping to set up an event or cheering on supporters. Whichever event you choose, signing
up in January means you’ll have plenty of time to fundraise and help beat cancer. Your entry fee covers the cost of your event, but it’s your fundraising that will go towards life-saving cancer research. All Race for Life participants pledge to raise at least £50 when signing up. To help reach this goal, everyone that signs up will receive a free fundraising pack and emails, which come with plenty of tips and tricks. You’ll be supported every step of the way. You’ll also receive your running number and a back sign to personalise at home. Wear these on the day of your event and show everyone who you race for.
