STAR LETTER Victory lap I wanted to say how inspirational your June 2024 issue (featuring the Paris cover story) was. This summer, my fiancé is competing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and we’ve got a huge group of family and friends coming out to support him. Many of them have been asking about what do to in the city, and I’ve been telling everyone to go and get a copy of the magazine, tearing out snippets to help guide our itinerary. We can’t wait to walk the High Line — but maybe we’ll leave the rollerblading to the real athletes! ELLIE MCBRIEN

Local tips The Inside Guide to Victoria, British Columbia (June 2024) brought back great memories of our visit last year. It was a concise summary of some of the key places to see in this Canadian province’s capital city. I’d also recommend visiting the harbour area at nighttime: the view of the Parliament Buildings lit up over the water is spectacular. And make time for one of the Free Walking Tours, too — they give great info and insight into the best sights. Worth a good tip to the guide! JOHN READ

Indian flavours I received your June magazine today and read the feature on Mumbai (Eat) with great interest. Being of Indian origin, I could just picture the mouth-watering, spice-enriched foods the writer described. During each of my visits to India, I’ve particularly looked forward to exploring the food scene in Mumbai. The writer’s correct: as impressive as the restaurants are, the street food is an integral part of experiencing the city. The article showcases the vast range of dishes that are available, and reading about them all has made me want to go back. MINESH SHAH
