Jungfrau

hree imposing mountains make for one outstanding visit. The Jungfrau Region is home to some of Europe’s most iconic mountains, namely the world-renowned Eiger, with its unique looming relief, as well as the Mönch and the region’s namesake, the Jungfrau.

The mountains themselves are home to some of the most charming mountain villages in Switzerland; Grindelwald, the Eiger village, the car-free villages Wengen and Mürren, Lauterbrunnen, the valley of 72 waterfalls, and Haslital, the unknown beauty. Each village is lovely in its own way, and staying here means being out in the pure nature of Switzerland while still being within reach of all the famous cities. Top excursions include: Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe,

Schilthorn-Piz Gloria and the Alpen tower. Top hikes include the challenging Eiger Trail and the more accessible Gelmersee circular hike.
