TOYOTA’S “START YOUR IMPOSSIBLE”


As the world’s largest car manufacturer, Toyota has its sights set fi rmly on a post-fossil-fuel future, with a squadron of concept mobility vehicles to match. These and the manufacturer’s new brand tagline, “Start Your Impossible”, were launched at the show. Both make the aim of “mobility for all” a reality in “an even better society”. Toyota’s line-up for the show was split into four distinct categories:


Artifi cial intelligence (AI) and connected cars: Advanced AI that learns from and aims to grow with the driver. A new way of enjoying cars: By integrating the thrill of a sports car with the environmental friendliness of an eco-car. Further possibilities for fuel cell vehicles (FCV): An FCV that envisages mobility in a low-carbon society with advanced utilisation of hydrogen and renewable energy.


Style of car-life and ultimate car- making: The birth of a new van and SUV fusion genre aimed at drivers with active lifestyles. The tradition of master craftsmanship and high- quality Monozukuri (all-encompassing manufacturing), while realising high- demand environmental performance and a design layout that pursues passenger comfort.

areas and automated driving function, this mobility vehicle can increase range of movement with safety and peace of mind.


A small mobility vehicle that emphasises universality based on the concept of “user-friendly city mobility”.
