APPLIED CERAMICS, INC.

Applied Ceramics Inc. has been in the Molten Metal Filter and Solid ceramic business since 1967. Since then, we have focused on providing value to our customers in many ways including, increased performance, cost savings, new product development and customized solutions. While serving other industries in the ceramic honeycomb arena we realized that we could create value for customers in the Molten Metal Filter business. So, we started developing ceramic bodies and tooling to fill the need of customers in that space. Today we have many customers using our “Holy Filters” to reduce their scrap, optimize flow, reduce splash, and reduce casting porosity.

Applied Ceramics has great pride in saying we are owned and operated out of the USA. We do our very best to source as many of our raw materials as possible out of the USA. This has led us to have little to no supply issues during the pandemic. We feel this is another way we add value to our customers.

Applied Ceramics has also added several different Ceramic bodies to fill additional needs in the industry. We now have the following Ceramic bodies for us in Molten Metal Filter; Mullite, Mullite Zirconia, Magnesium stabilized Zirconia, and Alumina. Giving us a full line up of Holy Filters to fit all your needs.
