Tim Ruland currently serves as Hitchiner’s Supervisor,


Metrology for the company’s


US Operations in Milford, New Hampshire. Ruland has been with Hitchiner for over 31 years and holds several certifications in CMM, SPC, CAD and quality control. He enjoys serving as a mentor and educator not only for the company’s younger layout engineers, but also as an adjunct instructor at several New Hampshire colleges.


Investment Casting Metrology Growth and Sustainability Chris Tinker, Hitchiner Manufacturing, Inc.


Chris Tinker joined Hitchiner in January 2019 and is a Layout Engineer I in the company’s US Operations in Milford, New Hampshire. Tinker is responsible for providing technical support in structured light, CMM programming, integration scripting, analysis of castings, dies, gages and fixtures within the investment casting process.


Investment Casting Metrology Growth and Sustainability Alexander Hautanen, Hitchiner Manufacturing, Inc.


Alex Hautanen is a May 2016 graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Hitchiner in June 2019 as an Associate Layout Engineer and 18 months later, was promoted to Layout Engineer I. Hautanen also provides technical support to Hitchiner’s US Operations in structured light, integration scripting, laser scanning, analysis of castings, dies, gages and fixtures within the investment casting process.
