Virgin Voyages’ Firstmates site set for November

Virgin Voyages’ global sales and marketing portal for agents will go live in November.


Firstmates.com will be “the


place where travel partners can go to learn about the product, get marketing support and materials and make bookings”, according to vice-president of global sales and business development, Stacy Shaw. Shaw said the site was being


developed and would also include a training facility. Cruises will go on sale by the end of the year. Former P&O Cruises trade partnerships director Shane Riley started his new role as international sales director for

The River Cruise Line has released its largest-ever programme, featuring seven new itineraries. The 2019 programme offers itineraries on five new chartered


ships: Belvedere, Thurgau Rhone, Swiss Ruby, Dream and Johannes. Among the new itineraries are
