Royal ship Odyssey of the Seas to sail in Europe in 2021

Royal Caribbean International’s latest planned Quantum Ultra- class ship, Odyssey of the Seas, is to sail in Europe in 2021 aſter spending its first season in the Caribbean. Te line’s 27th ship,
which will be similar in size to 4,800-passenger Spectrum of the Seas, will first sail out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Caribbean itineraries from November 2020.
It will sail six and eight-night
Caribbean cruises and become the first Quantum Ultra-class ship to call at the Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curacao, which will feature on its eight-night itinerary. Tose two destinations will be in addition to the calls on the ship’s six-night
route, which include Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; Nassau, Bahamas; and Royal
Caribbean’s private Caribbean island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Te six-night Western
Caribbean & Perfect Day sailing leads in at £898, based on a December 12, 2020, departure. Aſter Odyssey’s maiden season
in the Caribbean, the ship will relocate to Europe for summer 2021. Details of its European itineraries are yet to be confirmed and are expected to be released in November. In a previous interview with Travel Weekly, the line’s

president and chief executive, Michael Bayley, hinted the ship
would sail out of Barcelona. O Royal began a sales blitz on Monday with a 30-strong team set to visit 600 trade partners in 10 days. Agents will hear about Royal’s offer of £25 deposits and 5% upliſt in commission deals, which run until September 30, and other sales incentives such as a chance to win a cruise on Allure of the Seas via a quiz on Club Rewards.
