Amtrak includes three new US national park holidays for 2020


Amtrak Vacations has three new independent rail holidays in its 2020 brochure, all featuring US national parks. Te new itineraries include the


14-day Great American – Rails to the West, which costs from £2,049 and runs from New York to Chicago, before heading to the Grand Canyon National Park and then Las Vegas. Also new are the nine-day


Grand National Parks of the Southwest – Bryce & Zion trip to the Grand Canyon, which costs from £2,299, and the 13-day Grand National Parks Discovery on the California Zephyr, which includes the Rocky Mountain, Yosemite and Arches, and Canyonlands national parks, which starts at £2,999. Prices include rail travel,


accommodation, sightseeing tours and activities. Atol-protected flights can be added if required. Tere are more than 25 rail


holidays in total and agents can tailor trips using the more than 500 Amtrak stations offered. Peter Traynor, managing

Arena Rail adds Transylvania and Portugal to 2020 range
