Vote for your top touring brands in Hotlist survey

Agents are being invited to take part in the first comprehensive survey of the trade’s favourite touring and adventure brands, with the results to be published in December. Travel Weekly has launched
Touring & Adventure: Te Hotlist, an agent-voted survey of the best touring brands in categories including active and adventure travel, 18-30s, over-55s, luxury and value for money, as well as regional categories. Voting was due to be launched
at the Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas) Conference in Manchester this week, where 350 delegates were set to atend networking events, business sessions, an interactive trade fair and the annual Atas Awards. Te survey is being run in
association with Mail Metro Media, which will ask readers to vote in

said: “We’re really excited to unveil the first in our series of Hotlist reader surveys, asking the agents who book tours day-in day-out to tell us which brands have impressed them most. “Anyone familiar with our Cool
Cruises or Perfect Places surveys will know how valued these results are to the trade – not only do they act as a barometer of which brands are selling well, but they are a great resource for agents looking to grow their knowledge of this expanding sector.” Agents who complete the survey
before October 18 will be entered into a prize draw to win a Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker worth £199, a Google Nest Hub or one of
three £50 Love2shop vouchers. i Take part in the survey at
five consumer categories, and host an event revealing the winners. Te results will also be released in a special edition of Travel Weekly’s Touring & Adventure publication in December.
ROOM FOR GROWTH: US group Travel Leaders’ brands Protravel International and Tzell Travel Group are ready for their “next chapter” in the UK, having expanded their joint London office by around 50%. Managing director Jason Oshiokpekhai said the extra space at the St Martin’s Lane premises near Leicester Square gives room for the firms’ 100 travel advisors to hold meetings with suppliers or clients. He said the companies needed “more space for organic growth” of the brands, which specialise in luxury travel for the leisure, corporate and entertainment industry markets. Some staff have moved to the office from Travel Leaders-owned Barrhead Travel.

Rowland and De Vial walk 100km to raise cash for Abta LifeLine
Team Abta has raised more than £2,600 for Abta LifeLine aſter walking the equivalent of 2.4 marathons. Chairman Alistair Rowland (leſt) and financial protection and financial services director John de Vial (right) took on the 100km Tames Path Challenge, an ‘ultra’ endurance event, to raise at least £2,000. Aſter 28 hours and 11 minutes
– and with very sore legs – the pair had walked 106km and surpassed their fundraising target. “It was tough, but the weather was good and it was a great result
