Sales Development Manager Full time, 37.5 hours pw incl. some weekend hours


Due to the continued growth and success of the Agency Sales channel we are bolstering the team with a field based Sales Development Manager.


Your job will be to engage agents in all Riviera Travel products and seek-out local opportunities for marketing and promotion in order build on the current sales growth with agents.


You must be confident presenting in front of small and large groups and be able to organise your working life from your home office. A driving licence is essential, as is the ability to work away from home from time to time.


Ideally you will already be in this type of role with a good working knowledge of your local agents. You will be driven, passionate about travel and keen to work as part of a successful agency sales team. You will possess strong commercial acumen and demonstrate the ability to adapt style and approach to suit relationships at differing levels.


Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + company car + bonus.

Trade Partnerships Manager - UK/Europe


Tourism Fiji is seeking an experienced travel-marketing professional to manage its trade partnerships with the goal of increasing visitor arrivals from the United Kingdom/Europe to Fiji.


Reporting to the Regional Manager UK/Europe the Trade Partnerships Manager will oversee the identification, development, implementation and measurement of strategic agreements with wholesale and retail partners in UK/Europe in line with the overall strategies of Tourism Fiji.


The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of current travel distribution models as well as a keen grasp of marketing principles and best practices in both traditional and new media. He/she should have experience in managing trade campaigns, events and familiarization trips with a proven record for results driven activities.


Knowledge of Fiji and/or the South Pacific as a tourism destination is desirable, as is the ability to communicate professionally and passionately about the destination.


Based in Tourism Fiji’s London office, the position requires strong analytic and negotiating skills, the ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.


Relevant degree in Tourism, Marketing or Communications is highly Relevant experience in a similar role is mandatory, along with the legal right to work in UK/Europe. The role will require you to drive and also travel.
