Cyplon adds Sardinia, Sicily and Canary Islands

Cyplon Holidays has branched out into new destinations and revamped its website for 2018.
The operator, known
traditionally for holidays to Cyprus, has introduced Sicily and Sardinia, which form a dedicated 2018 brochure. Morocco is now featured in a new standalone brochure, as are Israel and Jordan. Previously, these destinations were part of a North Africa brochure. The operator has also expanded
into the Canary Islands for the first time for 2018, offering it as part of a new, broader Winter Sun programme that also features Malta, Gozo, Egypt, Morocco and Cyprus. The product range in Greece has also been bolstered this year with islands added including Naxos, Kos, Lefkada, Paros and Skopelos. The brochures all have new-look
branding while the website has been overhauled to make it more agent- friendly, according to sales and marketing director Tass Anastasi. “My son and my nephew gave up their jobs in the City to join us

and they have turned the business upside down, and brought in a younger, dynamic team. We have grown and expanded into new destinations,” he said. Anastasi said Greece was
already proving popular, with sales up 54% on last year. Israel, Jordan and Egypt were all seeing sales returning, he added. Agents who book automatically
receive £10, plus extras such as bubbly and chocolates for bookings over £5,999. Agents who book specific properties such as the Four Seasons or Amathus Beach Hotel, both in Limassol, Cyprus, receive seven nights’ free accommodation for themselves
and a partner.

Tipto plans 25 events from Scotland to Kent and on a CMV ship
Tipto is to host 25 roadshows in the first half of this year. The travel marketing
organisation has revealed details of 20 of its 25 events planned between February and June. They include 18 Face 2 Face
with Tipto roadshows, and two SuperShows, in Southampton and Birmingham. Dates have yet to be confirmed
for a further four roadshows – in London, Surrey, Manchester and Darlington – and an exclusive Althams Travel roadshow. Agents can now sign up to
attend the roadshows, the first of which will be at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on February 20. Other locations include Wetherby, north Wales, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Oxford, Bath, Belfast, Chester, Preston and Maidstone, as well as on
board Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Columbus ship in Tilbury.
