Travel The Unknown to sell via trade for first time

Small-group specialist Travel The Unknown is to start selling through the trade for the first time to push trips to destinations including Bhutan, Iran, Ethiopia and the Balkans.


Most of Travel The Unknown’s themed trips have a focus on archaeology, festivals, tribal encounters, river cruises, rail journeys, food and wildlife. Founder Rahul Aggarwal said:


“We have resisted selling through the trade until now because we did not want to do it half-heartedly. “Our trips require a good level


of knowledge to secure a sale.” Consultancy firm Robert Dee Associates has been employed by Travel The Unknown to develop the trade side of the business. The consultancy firm has already


started visiting independent agents around the country. Aggarwal added: “We are
