Improve your study environment a Where can you study quietly? A library, a room at home, a café? b Is your study place comfortable? Think about your chair, the lighting, how much space you have. c Can you concentrate? Do you work better with music? Do you turn off your phone when you are studying?
d When is a good time to study? How long do you study for? Do you have regular breaks? When is the best time of day to concentrate?
e Do you eat when you study? Do you study better with a coffee or other drink? How about snacks?
Improve your memory Everyone learns new words in different ways. Some people like reading, others like pictures. Some people like to listen to or watch people speaking. Some people make neat notes and have filing systems.
