UK charity Target Ovarian Cancer launched
a new Symptoms Diary mobile app to help achieve early diagnosis and increase chances of survival. The app enables women to quickly and easily record any symptoms they’re experiencing. If a user logs a particular symptom 12 times, this will trigger an alert advising her to make an appointment. This alert will also appear after 30 days of logging symptoms. They can then note down the date and time of the appointment, and the app will send a reminder. A simple call-to-action on the homepage makes it easy for the user to access further information on the charity’s website.

The results were linked through to the Farfetch website so that the user could shop the collection. The project has led to a 30 per cent increase in organic sessions year on year and a 48.25 per cent increase in organic revenue.
