film, music, art, drama, workshops and so much more...
For the very best entertainment in the South Hams, please take your seats at The Flavel Arts Centre!
The Flavel is the arts and entertainment centre of Dartmouth as well as a registered charity, funded entirely from ticket sales and donations by individuals and local organisations.
We have a fantastic range of entertainment, from film and event cinema to live music, classical concerts and fundraising events. Our eclectic programme is popular with visitors and residents of all ages. Running alongside this are wellbeing classes and workshops suitable for all interests and abilities while the first floor Gallery space showcases the work of local artists.
The Flavel is a fully accessible building looked after by friendly staff and volunteers. There is free Wi-Fi throughout as well as a relaxing bar which is open before film screenings and events in the main auditorium.
The wonderful Flavel Café is on the ground floor serving hot and cold drinks alongside our delicious menu of locally sourced and homemade sweet and savoury treats. Pre-show suppers are available for some events - please see our website for further details. We are also home to Dartmouth Library.
The Flavel is open Monday to Saturday and tickets can be booked at
www.theflavel.org.uk where you can view our latest programme information. You are also welcome to book your tickets over the phone or in person at our Box Office 01803 839530. The Flavel is located in the centre of Dartmouth, with a car park close by. There is also a regular bus service from nearby towns Totnes and Kingsbridge.
