display on Saturday evening pro- vides a spectacular finale, lighting up the River Dart and bringing Regatta Week to a memorable close.

New for 2026 is the introduction of a dedicated Community Day, re- flecting the Regatta’s commitment to supporting local organisations while continuing its recognised sustainability programme. Visitors can meet local charities, environ- mental groups and community or- ganisations, discovering how they can become involved in protecting and enhancing the unique River Dart environment.

Behind the scenes, the Regatta

remains entirely organised by vol- unteers who work throughout the year to deliver one of Britain’s old- est and most successful waterfront festivals. Their dedication, together with the support of local business- es, sponsors and thousands of visitors, ensures this remarkable tradition continues to thrive.

Whether you come for the sport,

the atmosphere, the live enter- tainment, the shopping, the food or simply to enjoy one of Britain’s most beautiful waterfront settings, the 2026 Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta promises another unfor- gettable celebration of community,

maritime heritage and summer on the River Dart.
