INSTALLER COMMENTS


The walls in the property are thin – only three inches – so to create the recesses by the bath and install the recessed mirror cabinet the installer added 18mm ply to add depth and give strength. Because of the existing external extension, the shower waste could not be lowered, so the wet tray with linear drain was raised to create the degree of fall that was needed, based on the large shower’s flow rate.


The floor had joists that span 600mm, so additional noggins and 22mm board floor structure was added, as well as insulation boards. Highly flexible Weberfloor Flex was used to limit movement and give the secured stability required for products.
