appointment of Andrew Darley as contract manager. In his new role, Darley will be responsible for providing “exceptional” service to Omega’s house-build customers, leading a national team of contract managers and kitchen fitting teams. Katy Snow, national head of contract operations said: “We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to the Omega family. We are continuously developing and innovating to drive the business forward and people are a huge part of this.”

IMPERIAL BATHROOMS NEW PROMOTIONS


Imperial Bathrooms has announced the promotion of three team members. Former product design engineer, Hannah Hart (pictured centre), is now design and technical manager, with Sarah MacDonald (pictured left) promoted to sales and customer service manager, and Alison Burland (pictured right) accepting her new role as key accounts manager. Imperial Bathrooms company director, James Stevenson, said: “I am confident that Hannah, Sarah and Alison will take an enterprising approach to driving our products to the UK homeowner.”


KINEDO JAMES DAY


The Kinedo sales team has welcomed James Day as its new area sales manager – South. Day will generate displays and promote awareness of Kinedo’s range of cubicles, enclosures and trays. Commenting on his new role, he said: “The beauty of Kinedo is the level of support offered to customers including sales and installation training, plus a dedicated point of contact from enquiry to sale. Kinedo is Europe’s largest shower cubicle manufacturer and has a great pedigree, so I am keen to really help it become a known brand in the UK.”

WILSONART DIONNE STARR


Wilsonart UK, manufacturer and distributor of high-pressure laminate surfaces,


has appointed Dionne


Starr as its new sales development manager. From support with merchandising and sales strategies, to ensuring retailers have the samples, displays and stock to meet evolving customer demand, Starr and her team will also be on hand to respond to enquiries. Prior to joining Wilsonart, Starr’s most recent role saw her manage a team of account managers for a major international packaging supplier.

Whirlpool has appointed Steph Ferreira as head of brand and digital, UK and Ireland. Ferreira has over a decade of advertising and marketing experience across a variety of high-level roles during time spent living in South Africa. Smeg UK has announced the appointment of Pete Jarvis as its head of national accounts. Jarvis joins with over 20 years experience in electrical retail. In this new role, he will lead the national accounts sales team to nurture relationships with the likes of John Lewis, AO, Currys, Wren Kitchens, Magnet, Appliance City and Buy It Direct. Speaking of his appointment, Jarvis said: “I’m delighted to join the Smeg UK team, and I believe that my expertise and roots within the appliances industry will aid me to achieve great things at Smeg.”
