EH 3/67 ‘PARISIS’ t 1800 hours A at BA107

Villacoublay, an alarm sounds.

Cessna has

entered restricted Paris airspace and isn’t responding to air traffic control. The Escadron d’Hélicoptères (EH) 3/67 ‘Parisis’ springs into action.

A crew of pilots, mechanics, and sharpshooters quickly prepares the AS555AN Fennec helicopter to takeoff toward the intruder. For EH 3/67, this mission reflects their daily commitment to professionalism and the safety of Paris.

The Fennec intercepts the aircraft and, using advanced communication tools, guides the pilot safely out of Paris airspace. The mission is resolved quickly—a reminder

that the guardians Paris’ skies are always ready.

Roelof-Jan Gort and Björn van der Flier

recently visited EH

3/67 ‘Parisis’ at BA107 Vélizy- Villacoublay for Rotor Pro to meet with Commandant Grégoire and Major Jérémy to learn about the air unit’s dedicated personnel and its mission.

VIGILANT GUARDIAN OF PARIS’ SKIES A

By: Roelof-Jan Gort

For EH 3/67 Parisis, change is coming. From his office at Villacoublay Air Base, Commandant Gregoire sees his team preparing AS555 Fennec helicopters amid signs of transition—moving boxes and temporary workspaces. For the next four years, the squadron will relocate to modernize its facilities in preparation for the

H160M Guépard, arriving in 2030. This marks a new chapter for one of the air and space force’s most adaptable helicopter units.
