A broad range of UK companies will be exhibiting at Medica 2019, between 18 to 21 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Clinical Services Journal provides a preview of just some of the technical innovations, clinical services, products and medical devices on show.


Sterilisation processes monitoring


Terragene is a biotechnological company, leading the research, development and manufacture of advanced biological and chemical indicators for sterilisation processes monitoring. These indicators are mostly used in healthcare, food and pharmaceutical industry, as well as in waste treatment of medical devices and biological products, among others.

Minimally invasive gynaecology More than mattresses


Exhibiting at Medica for the 14th year, Talley Group will be located at stand 14B30. The company will have its flagship range of Quattro mattress on the stand for visitors to view and test. The cell design, TissueGard, is designed to allow for higher levels of immersion and envelopment, resulting in lower interface pressures and a reduction in shear forces. The company designed the pleated TissueGard cell at its manufacturing facility

Moving into Hall 11, booth D26 for this


year’s Medica, Swann-Morton will be displaying a range of products, including the recent additions to its retractable safety scalpels, as part of a continued commitment to training, best practice and enhanced safety protocols.


This year has seen the launch of the


company’s online accredited sharps training portal which carries two hours continuing educational development for clinicians successfully completing the modules, and is already adopted by European Universities as part of their nursing degree programmes.
