Authorising Engineer: Mark Conway AE (W) Water Professional Registration: Ben Martin – IEng (Incorporated Engineer)

“Achieving IEng accreditation through IHEEM marks an important milestone in my professional development and reinforces our company’s commitment to engineering competence and standards. I found the process to be a robust and valuable framework for recognising both technical depth and practical experience essential to healthcare engineering.

“As an Authorising Engineer (Ventilation), I see this as the right pathway. I am now beginning my CEng journey and plan to register formally as an AE through IHEEM at the earliest opportunity. We must continue to develop and support the next generation of engineers; the strength of the Authorising Engineer community depends on those coming through and upholding the standards that safeguard our industry.”

Reece Wright – IEng (Incorporated Engineer)

“Having a vested interest into the world of engineering from a younger age, it has been a lengthy, challenging but extremely worthwhile journey, having now achieved IEng status as an Incorporated Engineer. Building Services Engineering continues to put my skills to the test each and every day. Embracing each difficulty by using the knowledge gained from my

studies and experience within the healthcare sector is part of what makes my journey into work each day a pleasure.

“I’ve strived to achieve the best possible outcomes throughout my career and whilst being surrounded with valued colleagues. I take pride in improving processes and procedures where possible and when opportunities present themselves. Achieving IEng status has now given me a very rewarding sense of accomplishment throughout the years of working, learning, studying, and progressing. I have been fortunate enough to gain valuable skills and knowledge from various mentors throughout my journey. I would finally like to pass on thanks and gratitude to IHEEM and Engineering Council panel members, for allowing me to progress to this stage and with the confidence needed for future aspirations.”
