CZECHIA – e-gaming's progress in 2018 has been its most successful in the company’s 12 years history. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, e- gaming’s local markets, the company is maintaining its market position in spite of the drastic law changes at the end of 2017. There have even been improvements within these land-based markets, while the first few months of operation of e-gaming’s online casino in the Czech Republic foretells of a bright future for this new division of the business.
Addressing opportunities in international markets, e-gaming has achieved remarkable success in several legal gaming jurisdictions. In Spain, the company already has certifications for the autonomic communities of Murcia, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Aragón, Galicia, Andalucia, Baleares, Ceuta y Melilla and is expecting the certification for Valencia and Madrid in the next couple of months.
To date, the Spanish branch of e-gaming has installed 4,800 terminals, with more than 1,000 machines already confirmed for installation within the Spanish market in the coming months. It is not an overstatement to say that e-gaming’s production capacity at the moment is too small to satisfy the demands of customers and the market as a whole at this time.
The numbers of installed terminals are also increasing at an exponential rate in Mexico, where these e-gaming machines are also produced. Encountering the same limitations, e-gaming’s production capacity and installation processes within Mexico are struggling to satisfy demand. Due to the success of company’s games, e-gaming Mexico has now installed terminals in the majority of casinos run by the biggest operators in the country.
In most recent news, E.G. LATAM CORP, the Panamanian and Colombian branch of e-gaming, installed machines into all casinos of Codere in Panama where initial results are exceeding all expectations. e-gaming's terminals were already installed in several casinos in Panama with very positive results, but with installation of machines in the casinos of Codere they have taken a major leap forward in this country. In Colombia the number of machines also increased in a market that e-gaming decided to concentrate only on premium locations for the moment, as it is currently impossible to satisfy the demand.
e-gaming's R&D team is working on certification for other jurisdictions in Latin America and is already busy with the development of new games which will be presented in the next upcoming exhibitions.

UK
A senior delegation of Bacta figures comprising National President Gabi Stergides, Vice President James Miller and Chief Executive John White, have conveyed to the UK government the industry’s outrage over the proposed delay in implementing the £2 stake on FOBTs and to outline the case for reducing MGD on SWP machines from 20 per cent to five per cent. Explaining the Bacta position, CEO John White said: “Te government has taken the decision to reduce the maximum stake (on FOBTs) to £2, it’s taken the credit for making that reduction so why is it taking two years to implement?” He continued: “Te bookies are pushing the quite ludicrous argument that it will take two years to make the technological adjustments necessary to reduce the stake when everyone who is involved in the FOBT supply chain knows that’s abject nonsense.”
