New show brings together
plastics recycling industry Brand new, process-focused and free-to-attend, AMI’s first Plastics Recycling World Exhibition is attracting key players to Essen, Germany, on 27-28 of June 2018. We preview the exhibitors
The Plastics Recycling World Exhibition is set to make its debut in Germany in just a couple of weeks. AMI has extended its successful plastics information business, built upon databases, consulting, confer- ences and magazines, into exhibitions with its first two events co-locating in Essen. The Plastics Recycling World Exhibition and Compounding World Expo take place in adjacent halls at Messe Essen in Germany on 27-28 June and both combine a tightly-focused exhibition with high-quality free conference streams. Together, the two shows bring together more than 180 exhibitors and in excess of 2,500 visitors have already registered to attend.
Finding answers The quality and breadth of exhibiting companies can be seen in the preview of exhibitors that starts on the next page. Plastics recyclers attending the exhibition can expect to find answers to their issues and products to meet their needs from exhibitors with expertise in recycling extruders, size reduction,
sorting technology, decontamination and washing technology, melt filtration, performance additives and compatibilisers, pelletisers and more. The Plastics Recycling World Exhibition also features a high-value, free-to-attend conference programme, featuring several high level debates. These include: a discussion of the future legislative landscape of recycling within the EU’s Circular Economy; the future of End-of-Life Vehicle; and the development of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
Building contacts The organisers of the Plastics Recycling World Exhibition and Compounding World Expo have integrated two informal networking opportunities into the event. Football fans will appreciate the screening of the World Cup match between Germany and Korea in one of the conference theatres from 16:00 on the first day. And this will be followed by a networking party for visitors and exhibitors in Messe Essen’s beer garden.
