Right: Conair says the Doteco
equipment it is selling to film and fibre producers in North America could eventu- ally have application for injection moulders
configuration and operation. BRM simplifies the selection and execution of recipes, which reduces the potential for mistakes that may lead to product defects or equipment damage, reducing waste, minimis- ing downtime and producing cost savings. Operators can effort- lessly transition between different recipes or settings with minimal disruption, eliminat- ing the need for extensive recon- figuration or reprogramming. Users switch from operator mode to administrator mode for access to all previous functions when recipe adjustments are necessary. Movacolor says the BRM feature is excellent when the company has less experienced personnel that require a seamless means to execute predefined recipes, and for line managers who want operational precision with reduced operational complexity. Movacolor is also launching a controller that has updated software and uses a single cable instead
of many and is now portable up to 3 m. The new ergonomically designed 8-in Portable Touchscreen Controller (PTC) is partially made of recycled plastic and engineered for maximum flexibility. The redesign to a single cable declutters floorspace around the production line. In addition, the backplate of the new PTC has multiple CMB
and VESA pattern holes that make it
easy to mount for a permanent setup. Users also have the option of choosing magnetic mounting. Conair Group announced it has created
a new “Conair by Doteco” brand that will sell and service primarily to extrusion film
and fiber producers in North America but could eventually have application for injection moulders with complex operations. The Blendo Adroit line of gravimetric batch blenders and Grado Adroit line of continuous gravimetric dosing models were developed by Doteco, based in Italy. Conair and Doteco are both
