Teknor Apex will show Sarlink RX 3100B in 84 Shore A and 94 Shore A versions, which are based on the existing Sarlink 3100 Series technology, but contain 25% and 40% post-industrial recycled content, respectively. The materials were devel- oped to help automotive brands achieve sustain- ability targets. The company says the use of post-industrial versus post-consumer recycled content provides for a more controlled and consistent raw material stream. It says it treats recycled feedstocks like prime raw materials, and they are subject to the same quality assurance testing and must meet relevant specifications for use.

Tosaf will present the latest products in its portfolio of additive and colour masterbatches, including a new laser additive family suitable for making transparent parts without affecting optical properties. The new laser marking products are said to
provide contour-sharp, high-contrast markings on thermoplastics that typically show poor or no colour change during laser marking, as well as on compounds with fillers such as calcium carbonate, talcum, titanium dioxide or carbon black. Depend- ing on the substrate, marking colours ranging from white to grey to black are possible. Tosaf will also show its latest universally applica- ble colour masterbatch carrier system, which includes products for applications ranging from translucent and opaque materials for rigid and flexible packaging to components for food processing machinery and equipment. It will also present its light diffusing (LD) masterbatches which are formulated with micro fillers and are said to provide very efficient light scattering in polymers such as PMMA at low doses of 1-2%. Tosaf has 17 manufacturing plants around the
world, including Europe and North America.
