Toyoda Gosei expands in US with $60 million investment
Toyoda Gosei has invested around US$60 million to increase production capacity at three of its US-based facilities – in order to keep pace with growing demand for interior and exterior automotive parts. It will invest around US$21m at plants in Missouri and Indiana on moulding machines, assembly equipment and automation. Tosaf adds capacity in US
Additives specialist Tosaf says it boosted North Ameri- can production capacity by 40% last year. Investments at its four US-based plants involved installing new extruder lines at each location, as well as automation and control systems. The new lines incorpo-
rate technology for addi- tives production, including energy and water systems that are designed to minimise environmental impact. The company has also added a new rail car loader at its Bessemer City location, allowing it to improve delivery times. �
