ADVERTORIAL

A FAMILY OF SEVEN (SIETE) ON A REAL FOOD MISSION

Siete Family Foods began with Veronica Garza’s journey to health. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with multiple health conditions that impacted her quality of life. Because the Garzas believe Juntos es Mejor, or “Together is Better,” her family of seven (Siete!) joined her in adopting an elimination diet.

As a Mexican-American family from South Texas, eliminating certain foods made them feel less connected to their heritage and community (the tacos and fajitas that they grew up enjoying on tortillas didn’t quite taste the same on a lettuce leaf!). So Veronica began experimenting in the kitchen to create grain free tortillas they could all enjoy. She knew they had something really special when her Grandma Campos said that Veronica’s tortillas tasted better than the homemade tortillas she’d made for decades!

The family knew they couldn’t keep their delicious Mexican-American food to themselves, so they created Siete Family Foods to bring heritage- inspired food to tables everywhere.

“Taste and texture are the most important things. We don’t want to offer products that are just a good substitute, we want them to be as close to the real thing as possible so people don’t have to feel like they’re compromising when they’re eating our food.”

- Veronica Garza, President and Co-Founder

Siete Family Foods is a Mexican-American food company, rooted in family, that creates delicious heritage-inspired products made with thoughtfully selected ingredients.
