NICOBI FOODS FLAVORED BY LOVE
Imagine all your favorite soul food flavors wrapped up in a tortilla and you have the idea that inspired Nicole and Obi Linton to start their own food business. In 2008, the couple noticed long lines at a popular burrito chain, so they started Soul Burrito, selling burritos with an ethnic twist from a food truck. After 15 years, a fleet of trucks, and millions of burritos, they were ready to expand to a bigger audience and Soul Burrito became Nicobi Foods.
According to the Lintons, the biggest reason they started the brand was to bring the flavors they loved from their childhood into the homes of their customers. With more and more people cooking at home, they knew Nicobi spice mixes and sauces would elevate home cooking to restaurant quality.
The Lintons were clear about what they wanted to achieve when they started selling their products at supermarkets: bold, ethnic-inspired flavors made with real, high-quality ingredients. But they were also clear about what they didn’t want: All of the products are free from artificial additives.

With Nicobi Foods’ success the Lintons have also worked hard to give back to their community by creating
opportunities for growth, education, and entrepreneurship. Their non-profit Nicobi Cares, has provided food giveaways, mentorship programs, and business development assistance, with special focus on helping young women. our local GIANT. Dig in!
