BRIGHTER FUTURES, SAFER JOURNEYS: HOW FIRST LIGHT SAFETY IS TRANSFORMING SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION
The journey to and from school is a fundamental part of our children’s daily lives, and ensuring their safety is a mission that First Light Safety takes to heart. We are revolutionizing student transportation by harnessing the power of innovation and illumination. Our industry- leading and life-saving products—Illuminated School Bus Sign and Fully Illuminated Stop Arm—are changing the landscape of school bus safety. Unlike traditional reflective alternatives, these signs are visible from much greater distances, especially in low-light conditions or inclement weather.
This simple yet powerful innovation is a vital safeguard for students entering and exiting the school bus, providing a reassuring layer of safety. First Light Safety is proud to partner with visionary school districts such as Farmington Municipal Schools, Sumner County Schools, and Yarmouth School Department. These districts recognize the importance of prioritizing student safety and are actively implementing our solutions. This September, we are celebrating the transformative efforts of three distinguished directors of transportation Billy Huish (Farmington Municipal Schools), Andrew Grasty (Sumner County Schools), and Chris Storer (Yarmouth School Department), who have taken significant strides in revolutionizing school bus travel.
As we move forward, we commend these directors for their dedication to creating a safer tomorrow. Their efforts, in collaboration with First Light Safety, are not just enhancing safety today—they are shaping the future of how we protect our students on the road.
First Light Safety thanks Billy Huish and Farmington Municipal Schools for
their dedication to
enhancing student safety in school transportation.
“These lighted signs and stop arms have added additional visibility to our buses, making them even safer for our students and drivers.”
