supercapacitor modules can be used by them- selves or in conjunction with primary or sec- ondary batteries to extend battery life and backup time or provide instantaneous power pulses in hold-up, energy harvesting, and pulse power applications in the industrial, energy, telecommunications, automotive, transportation, and medical industries. The series exhibits very high capaci-


tance, very low ESR, high effi- ciency, high power density, and excellent pulse power handling characteristics.
