BAY WEST SPEARHEADS EUROPEAN EXPANSION


Disposables UK, part of the Northwood group, is celebrating significant growth in Europe fuelled by its Bay West brand.


The success follows recent product launches from Bay West, Disposables UK’s leading brand, which includes the Bay West Alliance Dispenser and the Bay West Impressions range.


These two new product ranges will benefit those operating in the UK and European FM sectors by giving additional cost savings and helping waste reduction in high traffic washrooms.


The Bay West Alliance Dispenser is unlike any other traditional roll towel


dispenser as it accommodates two full rolls of towels, offering a new and unique hand-drying experience, superior to other systems available in the market. The latest addition to Disposables UK’s Bay West range offers numerous benefits, including waste reduction, cost savings and infection control.


The Bay West® Impressions range


includes toilet tissue and hand towels that offer that touch of class for discerning washroom users. The products provide higher levels of softness, absorption and an


all-round luxury feel. The range includes a two-ply and a three- ply toilet tissue, as well as a two- ply hand towel roll, which are all laminated and micro-embossed using Disposables UK’s new state- of-the-art production line at its manufacturing site in Huddersfield. Disposables UK has also recently added a Blue Recycled Hand Towel to the range. The two-ply hand towel roll, made from fully-recycled materials, is a great choice for environment conscious customers.

KFC CHOOSE


CLOUD FM One of the world’s best-known brands, KFC has embarked on an ambitious strategy that will see the company double in size over the next five years. Quality, innovation and consistency will be key to achieving that goal, ensuring a fantastic customer experience at all times. The choice of FM provider is therefore crucial and KFC has taken the decision to partner with fast- growing company, Cloudfm.


The £60 million contract will encompass all 235 of KFC’s outlets in the UK over the next five years (excluding franchises). From July 2015, Cloudfm will manage all planned and reactive maintenance.


Property Manager at KFC, Ian Diaper, explains why the change was necessary: “This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly. We conducted a
