WHAT’S NEW? CHSA GALA BALL RAISES
RECORD AMOUNT Members and sponsors of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) together with their guests raised £9,950 at its Annual Gala Ball for the Chairman’s Charity, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
The Annual Gala Ball, held again this year at Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire, is a wonderful way for members to come together. Alongside the sumptuous dinner, the evening was packed with entertainment including a comedian/ compere, silhouette artist, close-up magicians, live band and dancing.
David Garcia, Treasurer of the CHSA and the driving force behind the Gala Ball, explained: “The Gala Ball is a

CERTIFICATIONS CH&Co Group has retained its business certifications in quality management, environmental standards, energy management and health and safety across its portfolio of businesses.
The Brookwood Partnership and ABsolutely Catering, that merged with CH&Co Group in July 2016, are now also included in the Group’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
The auditor was most impressed with the way CH&Co Group complies operationally with its management systems. He praised the competence of all employees and their excellent understanding of their roles within the business, and the detailed training provided to staff. He also highlighted that as well as embedding its management systems, the business has improved upon them.
In addition, CH&Co Group has added ‘Safe Systems in Procurement’ (SSIP). This umbrella organisation facilitates mutual recognition between health and safety pre- qualification schemes and allows buyers to verify that a contractor holds valid safety certification.
