Step 2: With hybrid working becoming the norm, meeting rooms within the HQ were repurposed to offer space where staff visiting the office could collaborate safely.
Step 3: Rendezvous workspace technology was deployed to enable remote workers to locate and book workspace via a mobile app, and to organise hybrid meetings the same way, even across multiple locations and time zones.
Luis De Souza, CEO of NFS Technology, says one of the most impressive aspects of this transformation came down to building up trust in the workplace.
He said: “As in any transformation or deployment, it’s crucial to get the buy-in of all the stakeholders who are being asked to make major changes in the way they work.
“In this situation, we were able to help a fairly traditional leadership team to understand the benefits of using an integrated workspace system that includes mobile technology, occupancy sensors and controls.”
Impressive results The financial services company is celebrating a major success with its hybrid working transformation. It reports results including:
• A confident workforce – the firm expects up to seven in ten to return to the office part-time by early in the new year.
• Up to 40% of headquarters meeting rooms have been repurposed for more flexible ways of working.
• Increased collaboration among the increasingly agile workforce.
