First launched in 1999 as a fluorescent, Zumtobel’s SLOTLIGHT infinity was the world’s first consistent light line to comply with the highest architectural and technical lighting requirements. Including the transition to LED, the brand continually works to increase the performance and functionality of the range. The latest update in 2021 saw the addition of a minicell version offering 3500lm per metre with UGR<13.

SLOTLIGHT infinity makes it easy to shape a perfect line of light without a cover frame. It has been designed for flush mounting with the ceiling. The luminaire’s linear design is continued in a precisely defined shadow gap. Cracks are a thing of the past, as the luminaire is technically and thermally separated from the ceiling by a mounting frame. The final result is a high-grade lighting solution meticulously integrated into the interior design, which appears as a fully consistent light line to the beholder.
Recessed, surface-mounted, pendant and a special round variant, the range is available in RGBW Tunable White as standard, making it suitable for various applications, from education to office. What’s more IP54 variants are available to protect against spray water and dust. This means they can also cope with the conditions in sheltered outdoor areas. The high degree of protection improves durability. It extends the luminaire’s service life while providing continuity between indoor and outdoor lighting.
