Wouldn’t it be great if maintaining carpets and floors meant cruising across open, uninterrupted, surfaces without anything in the way? With the absence of awkward little corners and swerve-worthy objects, vacuuming would be a breeze.
Except of course, this is rarely the case. The vast majority of spaces require furniture, and plenty of it. Cleaning underneath beds, desks and tables can be a major challenge, with nooks and crannies the norm. For some upright commercial vacuum cleaners, designed to go in straight lines, odd-shaped spaces can increase the time they take to get the job done and may reduce effectiveness too.
Cue the SEBO Dart. Best described as an upright-cylinder hybrid, this durable, commercial machine combines the best of both worlds. It’s powerful, practical, and impressively manoeuvrable, even in the tightest, awkward-to-reach spaces.
The stand-out feature is a swivel neck, which steers around obstacles with ease (arguably more smoothly than any tub vac suction nozzle) and makes light work of the curves and angles of furniture-filled rooms. The power head is low profile enough to reach underneath furniture and it cleans right up to the edges. It tackles skirting boards with ease and can get right underneath protruding radiators.
Aside from impressive manoeuvrability, the SEBO Dart uses a toothed belt to transmit power to the brush, resulting in superb pile lifting performance. It removes hair and fibre easily from floors and reaches deep into carpet pile.
For above the floor cleaning, the Dart also features a convenient on-board hose and crevice nozzle and, if required, the power head can be detached, leaving you with a lightweight hand-held suction unit. Add a UHS polisher, which can be fitted instead of the power head, and this unique, and brilliant, all-round cleaning machine gets hard floors shining too.
